Western Winter Wander 29th August 2010
A delightful, relaxing navigational run, through picturesque country west of Melbourne, finishing up in a beautiful village with a good value 2 course meal at the Gordon Hotel.
We had a midway stop at Meredith where we viewed a collection of memorabilia that will refresh the memories of the 50's and 60's...... looking at the group, we all seemed to fit in with that era rather well!  Lots of juke boxes, Elvis Presley (unfortunately not in the flesh) and rock'n'roll music.  After lunch we descended en masse on the Gordon Celtic Hat Shop - much mirth, merriment and laughter as many hats were tried on and modelled.
