The version of the Six Text and Illustration manual has been scanned and edited from a December 1950 edition. A September 1957 edition downloaded from the TOC website contained an errata of five pages of corrections and additions which I have inserted into the text where indicated rather than leaving them as a separate section at the beginning of the manual.
A great deal of time has gone into preparing these manuals. For both the 4 cyl and 6 cyl manuals the illustrations were scanned, cleaned up using a bitmap editor then converted back into a PDF. Each page took between 1-2 hrs . The Text page was scanned and converted to real text to be corrected in MS Word then converted back into PDF format. All the pages are now A4 as opposed to the original foolscap. This also has taken some considerable time as there were many scanning errors to be corrected. There may well still be the occasional error so if these are found I would appreciate feedback to make the appropriate corrections. My email address is peter-stringer@optusnet.com.au
